i was invited to a fetish photography exhibit featuring apollo staar. there was some impressive hair and makeup in attendance. we beelined to get in a decent meal afterwards, but i was rather fazed after an hour of photographing corsets.

i am extremely sad to be missing katsuhito ishii's first big exhibition, thanks to geographical inconvenience. i am posting for respect of his great work and hoping (begging) someone will bring this to los angeles. the exhibition closes in europe on july 31st, 2009.

on my last night, alex picked me up at the shibuya station with a cart full of vinyl records and we hauled to dadada @ club asia. we were backstage for a few hours before his set. i am not sure they knew what to think of a small american girl taking polaroids, but everyone was really nice. i was secretly wishing i could stay in japan forever taking pictures.
